A few weeks ago while grocery shopping, we needed to grab some tomato sauce. My husband and I came across the brand Mezzetta. We decided to grab a jar and give it a try. I ended up posting a picture of the sauce to my Instagram story to see if any of my audience had tried it. Mezzetta reached out to me and offered to send me their new collection to try.
When I first opened the package and seen the names of the marinara sauce I thought to myself… “Hopefully they taste better than the names because I don’t really care for food that contain onions or plums.”
MAN WAS I WRONG. The “Caramelized Onion” marinara sauce was a HIT for my household.
I had no idea what I was going to make with the sauce. After searching online and taking a few days to think, I decided to make a quick chicken and pasta dish for dinner and add the marinara sauce to top it off.
If I’m being honest, as a stay at home mom with 2 kids under the age of 2 … most days I dread having to cook dinner. Quick and easy meals are my go to and make dinner 10x easier.
You only need a total of 3-4 ingredients for this dish. SIMPLE & EASY!
Everything You Will NEED:
- Fettuccine Noodles (You can use whatever you prefer)
- Chicken Breast
- Marinara Sauce
- Shredded Cheese or Parmesan Cheese (OPTIONAL)
Step By Step Prepping & Cooking:
- Boil Noodles
- Add a splash of olive oil, so the noodles don’t stick (OPTIONAL)
- Drain & Rinse Noodles
- Wash & Season Chicken
- Preheat Air-fryer to 375°
- Add & Cook Chicken for 20mins
- Flip Over After 10mins
- Place noodles on the plate, add the chicken, top with the sauce and cheese
To go along with the pasta, I made garlic bread and a juicy salad. The salad included: boiled eggs, shredded cheese, bacon bits, spring lettuce mix, and the dressing of our choice.
